About the Author Anne Cluysenaar was born in Belgium, finished her schooling in Ireland, received a degree from Trinity College, Dublin, and in the sixties took Irish citizenship. She now lives on a smallholding in Wales. Her selected poems Timeslips (Carcanet) contains a sequence 'Vaughan Variations', exploring themes from the work of the Breconshire poet Henry Vaughan. She edits poetry for Scintilla.Norman Schwenk was until his retirement Convenor of Creative Writing at Cardiff University. He now works as a freelance writer and teacher. He has two collections of verse in print, The Black Godess (Chiron Press) and How to Pronounce Welsh Place Names (Alley Press). American by birth, he has lived in Wales since the 1960's.
